BLUEBERRY MOJITO

Ingredients

  • 6 Kiwis, peeled and chopped
  • 4 kiwis, sliced for decoration
  • 6 oz. blueberries
  • 6 oz. blueberries for decorarion
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 4 oz. fresh mint or fresh peppermint
  • 2 cups mineral water
  • 1 or 1 1/2 cups rum
  • 1 cup El Chilerito Sweet & Sour Candy Powder Blueberry Flavor
  • Ice
  • Sugar to frost the glasses


Steps

  • Blend 6 Kiwis, lime juice, sugar and rum until you get a fine mashed puree, add rum slowly to taste.
  • In a mortar, smash half of the blueberries, to get juice but not to become mashed.
  • Slice the rest of the kiwis.
  • Pour the mashed kiwis in a pitcher with lots of mint or peppermint leaves, kiwi slices and ice. Add more ice, ground and whole blueberries with another bunch of mint or peppermint leaves.
  • Finally add mineral water and adjust recipe to taste.
  • Before serving, frost some glasses edges with lime and place them on a plate with El Chilerito Sweet & Sour Candy Powder Blueberry Flavor.
  • Serve and enjoy.
