RICE ROLL WITH TUNA MIX

Ingredients

  • For the rice:
  • 1 cup of uncooked rice.
  • 2 cups of water.
  • 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar.
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar.
  • 1 teaspoon of salt.

  • For the avocado and cucumber layer:
  • 1 cup of mashed avocado.
  • 1 cup of cucumber, chopped in small cubes.
  • 1 tablespoon of lime juice.
  • Salt to taste.

  • For the tuna:
  • 10.58 oz of uncooked tuna, chopped in small cubes.
  • El Chilerito salsa Mix to taste.
  • 1/2 cup of chopped chives.
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil.
  • Lime juice to taste.

  • For decoration:
  • 1 tablespoon of furikake.
  • Cake ring mold for plating.

Steps

  • In a pot pour the rice and water. Bring he water to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer, cover the pot with a lid until rice is soft and the water has been absorbed, about 20 minutes. To the rice add the vinegar, sugar and salt mix.

  • For the avocado and cucumber layer:
  • Mix all ingredients.

  • For the tuna:
  • Mix all ingredients and let sit for half hour.

  • For the tower:
  • Place the rice in the mold, compress it a bit, cover with the avocado and cucumber mix, then add the tuna mix. To decorate use the furikake and El Chilerito Salsa Mix.
