Ingredients
- For the chicken
- 1 chicken breast cut into cubes
- 1 cup of wheat flour
- 2 eggs
- Oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- For the orange sauce
- 1 cup of orange juice
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 30 ml of soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 100 g of chopper chives
- 1/2 onion
- 1 bell pepper
- 2 garlic cloves finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 cup of El Chilerito Chamoy mango
- To accompany
- Oriental white rice or rice noodles
Steps
- For the chicken
- Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Dip each of the chicken pieces in a bowl with the wheat flour, once covered, drain the excess powder and pass them through the beaten egg and go through the flour again.
- Fry them until golden brown, put them on some paper towels to remove the excess of oil. Reserve.
- For the orange sauce
- In a skillet over medium high heat, place garlic, onion, bell pepper and chopped chives and sauté for 3 minutes.
- Dissolve the tablespoons of cornstarch in the orange juice.
- Add the orange juice, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar and El Chilerito Chamoy Mango to the pan. Boil for two minutes.
- Add the sugar. Mix it perfectly and let it boil until it thickens, taste and season if it needs more salt or sugar.
- Add the chicken to the sauce and mix perfectly. After a few minutes add the sesame seeds.
- Decorate with more chives and enjoy!
