El Chilerito was founded as part of the company Chilera Tapatía S.A. de C.V. in 1998 in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco. In a very short time, it became known as “El Mejor Chamoy de México®” (The Best Chamoy in Mexico®) thanks to the acceptance of our consumers and our constant effort to offer products made with the highest quality ingredients
Our products
El Chilerito currently reaches markets in Mexico, the US, Canada, Central America, and Europe, offering a wide range of products for all tastes, from our traditional Chamoy Sauce and our all-purpose MIX Sauce to our new Chamoy-style sweet and sour powder in Traditional and Blackberry flavors.
